I picked up my free copy at WorldCon in San Jose last August and finally got around to reading it. I'm hooked. Not only stories by some of my favorite authors, but cartoons and columns as well. Each story started with a black-and-white drawing, which is a nice touch. And there's a two-parter by Allen Steele, which means I'm going to have to find a copy of that issue. Amazing Stories is a quarterly, so not as overwhelming as Asimov's and, in print form, is a glossy magazine. I'm thinking of
